A long time
Just a brief update, Friday is the end of the semester, and then I will post something useful.
Just a brief update, Friday is the end of the semester, and then I will post something useful.
Well, I am back from Nicholasville, and I am going back tomorrow! So yay!
As an update, I got glasses today, and I have to wear em on the computer, and any other time that I read. so that is a big update I guess.
I also got all school shopping done today!!!
So, this was just a quick update.
until next time!

Well, it has been a while since i hace last posted on here. However, I am posting with exciting news! I’m going to a second District Convention! This time in Dayton, Ohio, next weekend. It’s sure to be another weekend of fun and spiritual learning.
I will be sure to post another review of the district convention, with different points.
In other news, I am leaving next Wednesday to go to the Convention in Dayton. From there I will be in Lexington the next week with family. Hopefully it will be fun! (As it usually is!)
Until next time!

Four days, well, I think it would be five now, it was Thursday. In the morning, we got up early and finished our final preparations. Unbeknown to you all, but known to me, I was getting ready to attend the 2009 District Convention. After a little while longer, we drove to Evansville, Indiana.
… (A little while longer) …
So we finally get there after 130 miles, and a few areas of construction. We arrive at 11 A.M. C.S.T. (or noon our time). Once at the hotel, we unpack the van and we carry everything up to the hotel room. (Well, I say carry, but it was only one trip, however the elevator was annoying. In my opinion there should be elevator music in all elevators to make that ride in silence less awkward. Plus, elevator music also adds a little relief in the elevator riding experience.)

The best Pizza place!!
After a while longer, we finally decided to go out and eat lunch. So we went to a little place in Evansville called Turoni’s, and they have the best thin crust meatball pizza that I have ever eaten!
Unfortunately for mom, she ate a salad with her pizza, and we think that is what caused her to be sick for the rest of the day. Thankfully it only lasted for that night, because she said she was in a lot of pain from it.
Let’s back up a little bit. During check in, mom had casually mentioned that dad was wanting to check out the fish stores in Evansville. Now, if you happen to know dad, you would know that mom meant marine fish stores, as in salt water fish. However, the front desk lady thought we meant fishing stores. So she sent us to Gander Mountain.
Back to now… we get to Gander Mountain, only to find out that it is like Bass Pro Shop, or Dick’s Sporting Good. Somewhere in between, but I am not sure how, or where, to put it exactly. So, needless to say, we go through the motions of getting grocery’s for tomorrow. We then head back to the hotel, and shortly after, go to sleep.
When I wake up in the morning, the fun only begins!
Early Friday morning mom wakes up. And she wakes me up. And dad wakes up sometime later. She decides to get ready, and fixes lunch and takes a shower etc. Then I take a shower, and then dad takes his. (This is our morning District Convention routine.)

Robert's Stadium
So Friday morning, we arrive at Robert’s Stadium, and the program was AWESOME! On Friday, we learn why we don’t want to rethink about being in the last days, and how Jehovah operates on his own time table.
Friday afternoon, during one of the talks, we are helped to appreciate that we are thrilled when things get worse. There is also a part about music, and how important it is to our worship.
There are many other points that were exciting to hear on Friday, however, I am not going to be the one to spoil it for everyone.
End Friday.
On Saturday morning, there is a symposium about our ministry, and how urgent it is. Not only that, but there are helpful demonstrations that we can all put to use to overcome potential conversation stoppers.
Saturday afternoon is kicked off with a talk about the Elders. Followed by yet another symposium entitled “Watch Out for Satan’s Traps!” Now, I am not going to go into the traps specifically, however, one of the points I appreciated was that even apostates can come back into God’s Organization, and they gave the example of King Manasseh (which I think I spelled that incorrectly…) Saturday is then concluded by an exciting talk about the lessons we can learn from Jesus’ Apostles.
End Saturday.
Sunday! Sunday! Sunday!
A word of advice to everyone: Take a tissue. (Or several.)
First thing in the morning, there is a nine part symposium (yes, nine) that is all about the end of this system, and what happens during that time line. From the time that False Religion is destroyed, down to (and past) the thousand year rule. The coolest part of this, is that they brought out two things: First (if I understand correctly) is that Jehovah will resurrect everyone except those who are destroyed at Armageddon. Second, during the thousand year reign of Christ, if a house last 200 years, we could potentially go through five different houses just before the first 1000 years are ended. I found that pretty exciting after I watched one of the releases and saw the potential of what we could build.
The Public Talk was also good.
Moving on to Sunday afternoon.
Take more tissue.
The DRAMA is aimed at young people, and is very good! One of the best ones that I have seen yet.
The last talk also has something special. However, at this point in time, I am not going to say what it is, because I feel that you should attend a District Convention to find out what it is exactly.
If you have made it this far, and are wondering what the block of cheese is about… well… I took a block of Havarti cheese to the convention, expecting it to last all weekend. Short story made shorter, it didn’t make it past Sunday morning.
So this is a broad and somewhat brief overview of the 2009 “Keep On The Watch” District Convention. It was great, and I can’t wait to put what I learned to good use!
Until sometime tomorrow, or the next day,
-Jon
Short answer: It is possible however, it’s not probable that they will understand.
(Much) Long(er) answer: Quantum Physics (a.k.a. Quantum Mechanics) is defined as the study of mechanical systems whose dimensions are close to the atomic scale, such as molecules, atoms, electrons, protons and other subatomic particles. Quantum mechanics is a fundamental branch of physics with wide applications.
Low vocabulary could be the state of not knowing many words. Or having some sort of mental impairment so as to not recognize many words.
However, it is still, in theory, possible to teach it to a person in this state. However, I cannot answer ‘How’ that would be done, as I am unsure of that answer.
So, since I am posting this on Thursday, I will think of something I can post tomorrow.
Until then, have fun!

You know, I was thinking earlier today, and did you ever stop and realize how much you can tell about a person by the floor in the home? I mean, honestly, you can get a good idea about their whole personality just by their chose floor.
Let me illustrate, lets suppose you have neon green walls. And purple shag carpet.(Like Barney the dinosaur purple.) Now, you might be wondering what that person was thinking. However, you can almost assume that they lived during the disco era, and didn’t want it to stop. Now where’s the disco ball at?
Another example… lets suppose you have tile floors… now there are all sorts of things you could think of, but I tend to think of upscale. Just for one reason though. If you have tile floors in your bathroom, what is the one thing that is wrong with it? Well, if you are anything like me, it is getting up in the morning and stepping onto that cold tile, and feeling that sensation shoot up your leg. To counteract this sensation though, someone created a heated tile system, which actually keeps the tile warm! So no more cold pains! I have cold tile though, because it helps wake me up in the morning.
Anyhow, regardless of what type of floor you have, it can reveal a lot of things about you! Just a random thought for today, provided by a cousin of mine.
To end today’s post, I have decided to post this:
Very good question, because I don’t know if I even remember. j/k

Anyhow, Monday, I woke up, came upstairs and turned on my computer. No sooner did I do that, and we got a call to go to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. So, my grandfather, uncle, dad, and myself all went there to eat breakfast. Then after a series of events (light coming on, airing tires, etc.) I found my self being a chauffeur for grandpa. So, we ended up going back to my aunt’s house. and I spend ALL day with them.
Yesterday, Dad and I went to Bowling Green to do some trim work on a house/apartment type thing. That was fun, because I got to drive a golf cart around the place, delivering tools, and people to different places. Then, we headed home, and I was going to drive, until we saw a huge thunderhead starting to form. Then dad said he was going to drive.
Last night, I had the Bible Reading on the School. I guess I did good, not too sure, but I guess so. Then I also got to run mics again, because they were short on people, that was also fun. And I am now the official battery charger, meaning I have to make sure the batterys for the mics are charged. So that will be fun.
Um, I did actually have a different post written up for today, but I think I will wait to post it till sometime tomorrow or maybe even next week. Depends on what happens.
So, until then, be safe, and don’t go driving through thunderstorms.
So you know how that is, right? Well, if you don’t know what I am talking about, then I don’t know how better to explain it. Oh well. I guess I will have to do that on my own.
Today was interesting, managed to get all my laundry done, and the last load is sitting in the dryer right now waiting to be folded up. It feels good knowing that I have my favorite clothes that I can wear.
So I have tried this new thing. Adding a picture to my post. This picture, beleive it or not, was actually one that I created about a month ago with a program called apophysis. Neat little program if you wanna try it out sometime.
In other news, I have my district convention the weekend of July 4th, so I am beginning to count down till then. It will be a good one, considering the number of GREAT things that I have heard about it. I can’t wait!
That’s about all for now, until I can either think of something to post here, or until someone comes up with a good idea.
Until next time.

So, a couple of other blogs have a Just Ask and an Ask Josh series. I guess we can call this a leap onto the bandwagon.
So, I guess if you all have questions you want answered, I’ll answer em!
Just as an update, while I am thinking about it, I am going to get my site newsletter as regular as possible, hopefully soon.
So, to start my Pop Quiz series:
* What is your Favorite food or group of foods? Pasta, and Mexican!
* Do you like technology? If you have to ask, then I don’t know if I can he
* If so, what kinds?(Computers, phones, etc..) Everything.
* Do you like geeky stuff?(like Star Trek) Yep, ask any Star Wars question, I can most likely answer it.
* If so, What kinds? Almost too many kinds! I mean, there is soooo much to choose from that I can’t possibly narrow it down.
* What movies do you like? Sci-Fi, Star Trek was great, the original Star Wars was better. Transformers 2 has yet to be seen.
* What T.V. Shows do you like? I like the Big Bang Theory…(I know, a continuance of my geek reputation…)
* Have you ever watched a show on HULU! Why does that have an exclamation after it? I don’t know, but I have watched maybe one or two on there.
So, last week kicked off my summer with the last day of school. YAY!
However, this week has been… interesting to say the least.
We haven’t really done much this week.
We have done A LOT this week.
We started this week with a day in field service. I didn’t get anyone at home, and neither did most of anyone else. But that’s Monday, so I guess I can kinda-sorta understand.
Tuesday, mom was gonna take my car to work, however she quickly realized “it didn’t have ANY brakes”. So, that was an interesting time. Dad and I ran around town, and started window shopping.
Today, dad and I ran around more, and we shopped ALL DAY for suits/sports jackets. That was interesting. More on that later possibly.
This was meant to be a short update, so I guess I will leave you all alone now.
Later!
